The only good thing about this place is the lovely setting on the lake. It goes downhill from there. Came for a birthday lunch with friends on a Saturday. There was only one other table seated so not busy. We ordered wine – took 20mins to come and had to go in and ask for it. 3 serving people just chatting inside. Several times we wanted something we had to go ask for it. The food was average. The starters were quite nice but the mains very average. I have had better pasta at the local pizza takeaway joint. When our starters were taken, the waiter took the dirty forks and knives off the plates for us to have with our mains! We asked for clean cutlery and he seemed surprised that we asked! I get the feeling that whomever owns this restaurant has never run restaurants before. Overpriced for what it was. Shame as the location is lovely. I wont be back.
