We ordered the Monte rib eye medium rare that cut like a piece of rump which needing much chewing. I ate the whole piece hoping for that ‘eye’ bit that’s tender but there was none. My friend could not manage it after a few bites and the waiter suggested having the steak cooked more but it came back worse. The waiter offered another choice of meat but it was declined. For a restaurant that specialises in meat, it was definitely a let down. The experience was mitigated by the attentive waiter who tried his best to make good our disappointment. The meal was booked with 2000 Yum points and I’m wondering if this has a bearing on the quality of the food we received.
