Joy F.

I took my husband to 6Head on his birthday recently. This was our first time.

We ordered:

Drinks
* Yang Spritz
* Opera Mule

Entree
* Trout Sashimi
* Rump Tartare

Main
* Wagyu Rib Eye
* Fish & Chips

Sides
* Lobster Mac & Cheese
* Hasselback Potato
* Mash Potato
* Pepper Sauce
* Mushroom Sauce

The food was stunning from the get-go. Our entrees were fresh and flavoursome. The tartare was definitely the stronger dish out of the two. The fact that it was presented in a glass cloche with a bit of theatrical smoke effect was the winner for me!

My husband’s Wagyu steak was unbelievably tender and so flavoursome! He kept saying that it didn’t need the 2 x sauces but we were glad we tried them anyway as we are a big fan of pepper and mushroom sauce.

The fish & chips were nice but I couldn’t finish my portion given the number of sides. The fish was nicely battered and tender.
The Lobster Mac & Cheese was so special and luxurious.
The hasselback potato was probably the best I’ve ever had as it had caviar on it and sour cream! Just luscious!!

The Yang Spritz I ordered came in one of the biggest cocktail glasses I’ve ever had. Even towards the end I struggled to drink it all.

Unfortunately, dessert didn’t jump out at us so we skipped it.

The ambience was beautiful and peaceful until it filled with more patrons the later it got.
The service was attentive and Rodrigo was very accommodating and kind.

Great experience. 6Head is definitely renown for its steaks. There was an A5 grade Hida Wagyu hanging in the fridge next to reception. Apparently 6Head release this from time to time for patrons to order it!
We will definitely return!See photo
