I often dine at West Village and see that ISK is always busy. The prices are too high for me but thought I’d use up my Yums there with a couple of family members.
I ordered the Blue Swimmer crab gnochetti which was from a special seafood menu and cost around $35. The gnochetti was very chewy and there was barely a spoonful of crab in the whole dish. The dish was seasoned with bread crumbs and lemon zest plus a few cherry tomatoes in the mix. Hubby ordered the $29 Diavola pizza (asked for pineapple in lieu of mushrooms and was charged $2 extra for the pineapple. Mum ordered gnocchi bolognese. The gnocchi were nicely soft and is was very saucy but not a lot of mince, more like ragu. It also came with a tablespoon full of breadcrumbs.
Staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere is lovely in the evenings, but there is a lot of pedestrian traffic going past.
