The food was fantastic but the service was definitely not what it could have been. The greeting when we arrived was very cold, the server whilst she was great at filling my water & asking if we wanted more drinks, not once did she ask how any of our dishes were & my steak was a little rare so if she came back I’d probably have told her that but I wasn’t given the opportunity to. We also had to ask for someone to come back over so we could order mains and again for dessert, usually a server would have known that and not have to be prompted to do that.
One other thing was that the sun was blaring though the window and make it quite uncomfortable for a bit of time, it would have been great if you had a blind to block it or offer to move us considering the woman could see we were trying to move our table back so the sun wasn’t directly in our faces.
I feel bad complaining as it was nice food but it just didn’t feel very warm and inviting which is a shame, my first time out since my last baby & my birthday is in a few days so thought I’d try this place, I always love going to a nicer restaurant for special occasions and I felt the service really let down your restaurant.
