It was my partner and my first time here, and we both have to commend that the food and service staff were INCREDIBLE! However, on my booking note I did mention that it was our anniversary, and we would’ve expected at least a slightly secluded table maybe at the corner of a quieter section in the restaurant so we could enjoy each others’ company, the food, and the drinks. But we were placed in probably the most awkward table in the middle of two other tables, and behind us were the most NOISY and DISRESPECTFUL group of around 10 men. It was quite evident that the staff and people who walked past were annoyed at quite bothered by it, however nothing was done to stop them. It completely ruined the atmosphere and my partner and I could not hear a word the other was saying. We had to yell across the table to speak to each other. It was definitely not the best first experience at your restaurant, but the food and staff definitely helped redeem it and I know we’ll be back again to try the food. Probably not for our anniversary or special occasion though as no special arrangements, even just table placement, were made even though the booking notes did ask if it was a special occasion.
