For starters the website allowed us to book for a set menu for 2, but when we arrived we were told that it is only for parties of 12 or more. We were ok with this and ignored it and chose our dishes. My wife had the Mezze Maniche Carbonara and I had the Chicken Milanese. Both were disappointing. The carbonara had 2 pieces of bacon and tasted like a microwaved Mac and cheese. It in no way resembled a carbonara dish. The chicken was said to be filled with truffle, but it was nothing more than a chicken schnitzel. Either the truffle wasn’t added or it was so fried up it was non existent. There was no sign of truffle in the flavour of the chicken either. When we went to leave and pay for the meal we were asked how we enjoyed the meal. When we said we were disappointed and explained why the waiter then got defensive and argumentative insisting the truffle was definitely in there. We paid and left and will not be back again. I can’t say we’d recommend it to anyone else either.
