A poor experience so please take note.
We are pretty easy guests. We booked online for 3.45pm on a Friday, a day in advance.
On arriving the host coldly tried to tell us there were no bookings until 5.30pm & that they were full.
We presented our booking confirmation as asked & observed the fairly empty restaurant so she seated us. No water or drinks orders came until we got up & asked a few times.
The waiter who came on shift, drinks & food were good hence the two stars.
On attempting to pay, this restaurant refused to honour the $50 Gourmet Traveller gift card that friends had gifted us for supporting their new family.
This restaurant has contempt for its guests & its own contractual obligations. I hope the other outlets are better.
