I didn’t get his name but he looked like a manager in the store. (By the look of wearing different shirt from all other waitstaff) He served me at the register when I paid in cash. When I sat down back at the table I noticed that I didn’t get all my change back.

I told one of the waitstaff about their mistake and asked for the change. And few minutes later the waitstaff returned with the change back.

While I was waiting for the food, I thought maybe the manager was having a rough day and just forgot to give me the change back or maybe he thought he could keep it as a tip without asking or saying anything which would be very rude.

Later on manager came as he was serving the food that I ordered. But there were no simple apology or whatsoever.

I think these littlest things build up the reputation and image of the store. As not even acknowledging the mistakes-small or big doesn’t matter, and for me not being able to receive the simplest gesture of an apology, just made a poor experience in this restaurant.
