Unfortunately I have to say it was not a good experience, especially when it was a celebration for my birthday.
I’ve been craving dry-aged beef for long time and to celebrate my birthday, I decided to treat myself the first time dry-aged steak. However, disappointingly, I couldn’t see any special of a dry-aged steak.
1. Not perfect doneness as instructed, the end of the steak was just burnt.
2. Got some chewy bites and excessive fat, showing careless handling.
I even doubt if that was the same steak that the waiter showed me before sending to the kitchen for cooking because the steak served to me had a big bone with it but the one showed to me before cooking had no a bone.
Anyway, a $207.51 meal shouldn’t be like that. It is the first time I visit The Meat and Wine Co., and I think this will probably my last time.
