I looked at this menu in advance and was torn on what to order because it all sounded lovely. On the day I ordered a seafood pasta which had a really funny under taste and after a few attempts I couldn’t eat it. May I add the description said “prawns” and I got 1 prawn so no plural needed. I sampled some of the other meals at our table and they were very tasty in comparison to mine. Everyone at the table tasted my meal and agreed it was not pleasant. On top of this I found the seating very uncomfortable, with bare wood seats or slated benches which are hard after a period of time. Plus, when you wear an outfit that means you stick to seats it’s never a nice experience. In terms of service I found the staff polite and friendly but over attentive to take our order. If it wasn’t for my meal being so awful I would go again, even with the hard seats and pushy staff. Alas, that one bad dish has done it for me and we won’t be going back!!
