I was gifted a Hunter and Barrell experience via red balloon. I had indicated during the booking process of dietary requirements. We arrived looking forward to a great evening with good food however unbeknownst to us it was a set menu which did not fit with dietary requirements. If I had received a call/email to advise not to come due to set menu that doesn’t meet our specified dietary requirements we would have understood. The manager at hand was quite rude about the situation and unwilling to find a middle ground. We stated that we would be happy to order to the value of the gift and pay the difference they stated that we couldn’t do that. Also didn’t offer to rectify/refund the red balloon experience and provided no confidence that they would assist. After having to be assertive about having the red balloon experience refunded the manager then advised that chef is willing to change the menu…?? We weren’t happy with the treatment and was really put off by the experience and declined. Awaiting a refund via Red Balloon.
