The food is actually really excellent, three times have now ordered from there. 2 sit downs and today a take away, by duress. It was really disappointing to see how front of house managed people. We arrived at 7.25pm – a little late to let crowd die down knowing we didnt have a booking. We were refused a table 3 times yet we saw people leaving and tables changing but noone coming. I reluctantly ordered take away as my two boys were hungry. By the time we received the food by 7.55pm there were 8 open tables including bar area where we could have been seated yet point blank would not be seated. I am italian and I know the owners are too. Not in line with how families are welcomed – certainly not the Italian way. And if you didnt want us seated to alleviate the pressure on the kitchen for example, why take the take away order then.
