Visiting Adelaide for the afternoon before taking the Ghan to Darwin, my wife and I had lunch at The Meat and Wine Co. Well, the atmosphere and decor are amazing, the steaks, chips, mash and garlic bread perfection and the service from Alvin attentive without being intrusive… And not that expensive. One criticism is that not all the wait staff practice the courtesy of ladies first, even when prompted repeatedly.
