Not normally the type of person to write reviews like this but I felt I needed to.
Terrible customer service from your manager on Wed 20th of April, I am trying to organise an event and he was incredibly dismissive and rude the entire time. I had to call three times over the night because every time I got a confirmation email it was wrong. On the third time he told me that he was really struggling to use the system and that he was new to the role. He asked if instead of the emails, could he just send me a text to confirm my booking instead of an email. I said ok, the text was literally “your booking as been changed to the 7th of May, confirmed”. Unknown number, no booking name, reservation number, no time, not even the name of the restaurant. This is a pretty important event to me so I asked if I could speak to someone who would be able to change my reservation through their system as he was unable to and my online booking was still showing the original time.
He got incredibly offended and became even more unhelpful. After another 5min of trying to explain why I need the online booking changed, he instead wrote a personal email and sent it to me with the new time.
Again, not what I wanted. Online reservation still says the original time. I’m half expecting to rock up and find out my booking doesn’t exist.
I also asked if he could talk to me about the various drinks packages available. He said “ok Sir thanks for your time, have a good night” and then hung up.
This is actually incredible to me. I paid $250 to hold this reservation and while I don’t expect 5 star service everytime, this really is unacceptable.
I love this place and have been close to 20 times and this was the worst experience I have had.
I’m honestly considering seeing where else I can book because if this is the manager I have to deal with on the night then I don’t know if it’s worth coming here.
