I was gifted a voucher, three course dinner for two at The Meat & Wine Co Parramatta.
Upon arrival we were greeted and promptly shown out table. The restaurant at this moment has an African theme for its decore and the menu also reflects this.
The meals we had were exceptional. The steaks were cooked as requested and were very tasty and tender. On one of dishes we had salt and pepper callimari. This is perhaps the tenderest callimari I’ve had.. first rate.
We had to swap out our desserts due to a nut allergy and whilst this deviated from the set menu we were subsequently served a very delicious alternative.
Our waiter was very good and would check on us without being too invasive.
I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to when we can enjoy their culinary delights once more.
