This was my third time at this restaurant and k three friends I who had never been before. They look over it! We walked there immediately after a show – Bjorn Again – at the Canberra Theatre at 4.30 and we were glad to get into the cosy venue after a warm and friendly welcome at the door – it was a wet and windy day in the city! We shared the mixed platter and then nordered mains – three skewers – two beef and one lamb for three f und a the rack of pork for our number 4 did not disappoint anyone. The side salads were fresh and crisp with a tangy teasing – a bowl of chips went down well – non-oily and crisp, Those serving us were knowledgeable and polite. We had no room for dessert so finished with coffee. My friends are smitten! All of us plan to go again soon with other friends so thanks Meat and Wine for such an enjoyable early dinner! Thoroughly recommend this lace!
