Decided to try this new restaurant in Plenty Valley for lunch today. And I’ve got to say, I would never go back and highly recommend that no one else goes there.
So we went up and ordered, and asked for the garlic and herb bread to come out first and have the rest come out afterwards. The guy at the front repeated this twice to make sure it was correct. So what came out first was my dad’s calamari, then we got the bread. About 10 minutes later my mum got her roast pork, 2 and a half slices thrown on a plastic plate (her face was priceless) and the chips came a good 5 minutes after that. As my parents ate and I nibbled on the bread and chips, one of the waitresses came over asking if we were ready for our mains. We looked at her and said we’ve got them except for my pasta. By this time my mum was halfway through her meal and my dad was finished. We said if they hadn’t made it yet, then don’t bother with it. After that we got no reply from her and she avoided looking over at our table after that. A good 5 minutes after both my parents were finished, another poor waitress came over and asked to clear the table, we said we STILL hadn’t gotten my meal and had already asked about it earlier. Luckily she had a better response and apologised and said she would find out what is happening. By that point I had filled up on bread and chips and didn’t even want to eat my meal. We got it put into a takeaway container and left. But before we left, another guy came to give me my meal and clear the table and had the nerve to ask how everything was after he knew I hadn’t gotten my meal… Seriously pathetic service. They’re lucky that they make you may before you get the food, or else I wouldn’t have paid for a single meal.
